Calandra Cruickshank is the founder and CEO of StateBook International, a patented, digital location intelligence platform that provides strategic economic insights powered by data science to inform the optimal locations for real estate investment. In this dynamic role, she supports Fortune 500 corporations, developers, and lenders with data-driven risk analysis, labor assessments, and realtime mobility insights.
Calandra also is the co-founder of Viral Insights, a new business intelligence SAAS platform delivering focused understanding about the risks facing Americans and our communities and businesses in the face of the coronavirus pandemic in order to drive effective strategies, save lives and help propel a more rapid return to economic stability.
She works closely with hundreds of economic development organizations (EDOs) across the U.S., providing data and technology-driven, digital strategic planning and marketing tools to help communities build capacity and catalyze organic growth.
Passionate about data, Calandra also provides digital solutions and data visualization tools to proptech, fintech and govtech firms and advises on how normalized public and private data can be integrated into their own platforms and applications to derive deeper and more meaningful data insights for their customers.
Calandra is dedicated to promoting thought leadership around innovative and disruptive technologies, tackling diversity, and empowering women in the industry. She is a frequent speaker at industry events and serves on committees for CoreNet and IAMC and is actively involved in several other industry groups. She previously served on the Board of Directors for the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and Chaired Women in PropTech’s New York City Chapter.
